JB – John Bennet

From a remote country where desert meets the sea, Western Australia’s John Bennett is a singer/songwriter with an astounding ability to transport listeners to his home country and transcend cultural barriers.

Making music for him is as easy as sitting under a tree with a guitar and letting the rhythm flow.

Everything he needs is at his doorstep in his remote and red-earthed hometown of Bidyadanga in the Kimberley region. His lyrics speak of the mud crabs he hunts, the landscape he wanders and the characters he loves.
