Harry Hookey

For the last few years Harry Hookey has gigged and busked his way all over Australia, the US, Norway, France and Cuba.

Along the way opening for the likes of Lucinda Williams, Ryan Bingham and Kasey Chambers.

The Gippsland-born boy lives and breathes the troubadour tradition, though not without attracting recognition from the popular music industry – with his debut album ‘Misdiagnosed’ being nominated for Best Blues & Roots Album at the 2014 ARIA Awards.

Harry’s line up features 2 of Fremantles most prominent and respected musicians – pedal steel maestro and Grammy award winner Lucky Oceans (pedal steel and dobro); and seasoned festival sideman David Hyams (guitars, mandolin and harmonica).
